I draw what truly moves me, as passion for your subject and medium is reflected in your art. I have long championed colored pencils for their unparalleled range of intense hues, saturation abilities, portability, and versatility. They allow me to create effects from fine, delicate lines to thick, burnished layers that mirror the richness of an oil painting. Whether realistic or impressionistic, my art embodies a lifelong love for nature, infused with a softness that highlights the intrinsic fragility found there.

I am an avid photographer, beachcomber and hiker, using my own photos for reference. Quality is especially important to me. I use heavy weight acid free paper or board, and only professional quality pencils with the highest light fastness ratings to ensure my art is long lasting.
